I love the way broad beans have such deep, soft, blankety pods, and the way that this big bowlful:
yields only this little handful of beans!
These were a delicious find in the veg patch on returning from holiday, but I have been strictly enjoined not to harvest any more until SisterPetal visits on Tuesday! We are very much looking forward to seeing Goldilocks and little Bear
