So I don’t seem to be blogging very regularly… never mind!
Over Christmas my nice little camera broke on me, just as I was trying to photograph the results of my home-made angel costume:
I was very proud of my beautiful little angel in her first ever nativity play… shame she was also a little angel with her tongue poking out to lick up the trail of slime from her nose…
J decided on a new camera for me and I’ve been trying to get acquainted with it. It has a feature where you can select just one colour and the rest will be taken in black-and-white. Just like in Strictly Come Dancing! I have had to play with that quite a bit. I’ll try not to do it on a too-regular basis, because in five years I’ll look back and laugh at myself!
Bluebird (I have chosen him a Web name!) will be five months old next week, so I need to think about ordering some sleeved bibs and getting ready for the start of baby-led weaning! Incidentally some new research was published today that links BLW to a preference for carbohydrates as babies grow older (spoon-fed babies had a preference for sweet foods) which may point towards BLW helping children learn healthier eating habits.
He is sitting very strongly now, which he loves as it helps him feel like he’s joining in with the rest of us.
Snow White continues to grow in capability and height. Two centimetres in the last month… no wonder all we hear is “I’m tired”!
Oh, there we go, a rather short nap from Bluebird this morning! Who knows when I shall blog again?!
