Hi, I’m SparklePetal. I’m an early-thirties, degree-educated, stay-at-home, Christian mum with interests in crochet, wildlife, sewing, food and other stuff that you’ll see on my blog. The flower on my blog header is a peony that flowered in my old garden. She is called Sarah Bernhardt. One day I will plant some peonies in the new garden, but there’s always something else higher up the list…
So thrilled to find you – not only a Christian crafter, but an educated stay at home Mum in the UK (I’m near Birmingham, but was in Odiham and Fleet in Hampshire for many years). I am also a Christian stay at home Mum, with 4 year old twin girls – and I love making and sewing things – my girls already love sewing and so seem to be following in my footsteps!

Well hello! I have to say that the name of your blog makes me smile. alot. I don’t know how you found me or how I managed to make it to a list of 12 blogs you like, but THANK YOU! It’s the encouragement I need to keep hacking away at this computer. I have to share computer time with my 4 year old, so blogging has taken a backseat to pbskids.org over the past few months.
